Welcome to BackerStage! Before completing your subscription, please review the following Purchase Terms of Service, which govern your use of paid services on the platform. These terms are in addition to our general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
By subscribing to BackerStage, you agree to these purchase terms, including billing, renewal, and account responsibilities. If you have questions, please contact us at support@backerstage.com prior to purchase.
Your BackerStage subscription is active on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan at checkout. Service begins immediately upon successful payment and continues until canceled or suspended in accordance with these terms.
BackerStage offers subscription tiers based on per-user pricing.
Plans may include usage limits on features such as project count, investor count, or user roles, as listed on our Pricing page.
We reserve the right to update pricing, features, or plan tiers at any time, with notice provided before your next billing cycle.
All subscription fees are due at the start of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) and will be charged automatically using your saved payment method.
We accept major credit cards and other payment processors as listed at checkout.
Your subscription will begin immediately upon successful transaction processing.
New users are eligible for a 14-day free trial on applicable plans. No payment is required to start the trial.
If you do not upgrade before the trial ends, your account will be paused. To continue access, you must choose a paid plan.
Only one trial per user or organization is permitted unless otherwise approved by our team.
All BackerStage subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
You may cancel renewal at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current term—no partial refunds are issued for early termination.
Annual subscribers must cancel at least 30 days before the renewal date to avoid renewal charges.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us at support@backerstage.com.

Each paid subscription is tied to a specific user account.

Shared accounts are not permitted. Each team member accessing the platform must have an assigned, paid user account.
You may upgrade your plan or add users at any time. Charges for additional users or feature tiers will be prorated for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
Removing users does not result in immediate refunds, but will reduce charges on your next renewal cycle.
